Description: Roman copy of a greek original from the 4th century BC. attributed to Praxiteles (around 330 BC). The original work,in marble, from Paros, was discovered in 1792 in the ruins of Gabies, in nothern Italy. It is currently kept in the Louvre Museum in Paris.
